Here are the terms and conditions of our Shipping Policy

How long does it take to process an order?

Please allow 2 to 4 business days for us to process your order (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. We make every effort to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. Personalized orders may take a day or so longer, and please contact us if you would like a custom order.

If we are experiencing a higher than normal volume of orders, order processing may take us an additional few days.

You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

We ship your order with UPS.

Shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout and will vary based on the speed of the delivery option selected.                                                 

Days noted here are times in transit from when they leave our shop.

Local pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our shop in Brunswick, Maine. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 2 to 4 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Our local pickup hours are 12 pm to 5 pm Monday through Friday (excluding Holidays). Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order that shipped UPS Ground within 5 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at customerservice@harpswellhouse.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you. If your expedited order hasn’t arrived within 2 days of your receiving the notification of shipping, please contact us.

 

Shipping to P.O. boxes

UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes. We need to have a street address to ship to.                

We have some products that could be sent via USPS, so contact us if you would like to have your order mailed, and we will determine if that would be an option for your order.

 

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 30 days after shipping, if the item is unused and in its original condition.

To start a return, contact us at customerservice@harpswellhouse.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at customerservice@harpswellhouse.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution. Please keep all packaging in case we need to file a claim with the shipper.
